Wuhan SinoHigh Geotechnical Engineering Technology Development Company, affiliated to Wuhan Design and Research Institute of Sinocoal International Engineering Group directly under the administration of the Central Enterprise Committee, is a new & high-tech enterprise registered in the Wuhan East Lake New & Hi-tech Development Zone. Bearing the Grade-A credentials for comprehensive geotechnical engineering investigation and Building Ground and Foundation Engineering granted by Chinese Ministry of Construction, it is the first National Excellent Unit of Geotechnical Engineering that has acquired the accreditation of the international ISO9000 quality system.
The company was originally founded in 1954, formerly known as the Division of Geotechnical Engineering under the Wuhan Design and Research Institute of Chinese Coal Industry Ministry. It has successively accomplished more than 1000 engineering and research projects, including projects like geotechnical engineering investigation, engineering surveying, foundational deep pit, pile foundation, ground treatment, geological disaster control, ground consolidation by anchoring and grouting, building deviation rectifying, ground engineering detection and so on in over 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and it has completed more than ten international projects in foreign countries like Indonesia, Iran, Thailand and Vietnam. Among these projects, there are over 30 awarded the science & technology advancement prizes and the excellent geotechnical engineering and design prizes of national, provincial, and ministerial level, and two gaining the national patents. It has made outstanding contributions to the national key construction projects and the local economic development as well.
The company now boasts more than 100 medium & high-level specialists and technicians ov various kinds, among them, one National Master of Surveying, 8 professor-rank senior engineer, 36 senior engineers, 12 Ph. Ds and Masters of Engineering, 15 national certified civil engineers (geotechnical), 7 national first-rank construction project managers and 7 second-rank construction project managers, while owing complete special corollary equipment and rational specialty structure. The company possesses large-scale geotechnical and construction facilities, such as full hydraulic synthetic prospecting vehicle and other prospecting drill, various sorts of piling machines, well drills, ground anchoring and grouting machines, etc, and it owns modernized laboratories and advanced testing and checking instruments such as the high-precision full auto-drilling meter, telemeter, and seismograph as well as the advanced computing analysis software and the high-quality publishing and printing system.
